EDIT: Floor redone. I put a texture down so it looks less like they're floating in nothingness...
This is a Styx angel. They are beings of pure magic, the guardians of the Styx world. Owls follow them wherever they go, and therefore owl sightings are considered to be extremely lucky. The Styx looking up at the angel in awe will probably never see another angel in her life.

The reason this is partial black and white and partial color is... well, this is actually for a school assignment - it was an open project, it just had to be done with more than one medium. So... that's the original pencil-drawn-and-shaded image with a background and effects done in Photoshop. And it all works out because when a Styx angel visits a Styx, they create their own atmosphere around them that shields other creatures from watching. The Styx angle has a mouth but doesn't move it when it speaks; its disembodied voice echoes all around the atmosphere it created. I figured it would look more dramatic if the characters were in black and white while the atmosphere was brightly colored.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this.
