Awww yeah it's a Killjoys/Pokemon crossover.
YOU'RE WELCOME, WORLD.
So here is Radiation Frequency, my My Chemical Romance Killjoy character. And her Luxray. From a most fabulous alternate universe I created where Killjoys fight side by side with Pokemon to stay alive. (You're all jizzing in your pants right now hearing this amirite.)
This is legit though - no dumb turn-by-turn battles and parties of six Pokemon. You've basically got one partner and that's it, no parties and Pokeballs and all that crap. It's bloody and dirty and no one ever fights fair because BL/ind is aiming to kill, not play. Pokemon are relatively immune to lasers (they might get bruises or be bloodied by direct shots and point-blank shots will certainly injure them, but not fatally) so they fight with each other directly - and they'll fight to the death. If a Killjoy dies, BL/ind captures their Pokemon in a special ball that brainwashes them completely and gives the Pokemon to a Drac to be used against other Killjoys. For a Killjoy, a Pokemon can be a great partner to combat loneliness and of course to protect them from BL/ind and their Pokemon fighters. Some of them can be used as mounts, so there's another plus. The biggest problem is finding food and water for both the Killjoy and the Pokemon out in the desert.... and is another reason why Killjoys only keep one partner.
I chose Luxray for Radiation Frequency because... well, it just fits her so well. She's a runner, and with an attack like Thunderbolt Luxray can cause a distraction or attack from afar. Luxray can also see through walls and can warn Frequency early if Dracs are attacking her hideout so she can make a quick escape. It also can learn Fire Fang and Ice Fang - Fire Fang for setting fires at night and Ice Fang for cooling things down during the day. It's symbolic as well - Frequency's a rabbit and Luxray's a lion. He's brave, she's a scaredy-cat. He's her opposite, everything she wishes she could be, her hidden potential. I also based Radiation Frequency's design and name on the concept of an X-Ray... Luxray, X-Ray... I think you get it. xD It's a perfect match. The colors even look great together.
SO THERE'S MY ALTVERSE. If any other Killjoys are interested in coming up with a Pokemon for their character please do and drop me a note! <3 I'd love to hear about it.
About the picture... I drew it on paper, scanned it, and drew new Photoshop lines to color under. Aaaand I drew the crappy background, I hope it doesn't suck too bad. So yeeeah. Enjoy!

I love this idea! It's perfect, and I also feel like Luxray is sorta like her daemon
